Brief introduction to the Faculty of Humanities
The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Turku is conscious of its traditions, forward-looking, and proud of its rich range of academic disciplines. There are over 30 subjects represented in the Faculty, which can be grouped under the study of languages, of history, of the arts, and the cultural sciences. There are over 5000 students enrolled in the Humanities, making it the largest among Turku University's faculties, with a staff of around 200.
