Art Studies at the University of Turku
In terms of its range of subjects, the University of Turku has the most diverse combination of all in art studies at the university level in Finland. The former School of Art Studies merged into the bigger administrative unit 1.1.2010. It is now a part of the School of History, Culture research and Art Studies. However the co-operation within the art studies continues.
Art studies are under the Faculty of Humanities and its School of History, Cultural Research and Art Studies. The departments are: Art History, Comparative Literature, Finnish Literature, Media Studies, Musicology, and Women's Studies. More...
