Working groups

In the School of Art Studies, special collaborative working groups help to develop basic degree education and postgraduate training as well as research co-operation. The working groups include a member from each department and are open to ideas and suggestions. They also inform the staff and researchers of important matters via the School’s mailing list.

The most long-established of the working groups is the co-ordination group on postgraduate education, which has introduced ideas, planned and organized the School's postgraduate education as well as drawn up regulations and outlined points of development since 2003. In 2006, working groups were set up for the development of basic degree education and research.

The most recent addition is the editorial board of Utu-publishing, the publication series of the School of Art Studies. Utu-publishing is an academic publishing series with referee practice. It publishes multidisciplinary, innovative and thought provoking monographs, collections of articles, conference proceedings and textbooks from the field of art research
