German language
The Chair of German language at the university of Turku was established in 1925. Today the Chair of German language houses two tracks,German philology and German translation and interpretating.
The aim is to provide Finnish students of German language with the qualification to teach, translate or interpret German within various specific contexts. All lectures are held in German or in Finnish.
