Degree Program of Cultural Production and Landscape Studies
The first degrees which can be taken in the Degree Programme in Cultural Production and Landscape Studies at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Turku are Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts. The premises of the degree programme are located at the Pori University Consortium.
Teaching in the degree programme is innovative compared to traditional teaching at universities. In addition to scientific education the degree programme focuses on practice-oriented and applicable skills. In doing assignments the students work in close co-operation with representatives of different fields. The studies consist of both traditional exams and production of brochures, exhibitions, videos, web pages and landscape inventories.
The Pori University Consortium is a multidisciplinary centre of five universities, University of Turku, Tampere University of Technology, Turku School of Economics and Business Administration, University of Tampere and University of Art and Design.
