Finnish Language and Culture for Foreigners
Those students who already have an adequate knowledge of Finnish language can apply for the right to study in this programme (70 ECTS in total). The proficiency in Finnish can be documented with a certificate or, if necessary, a personal interview will be arranged. THE LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION OF THE PROGRAMME IS FINNISH; ADEQUATE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LANGUAGE IS THEREFORE REQUIRED.
Master's Degree Programme in Finnish and Other Finno-Ugric Languages
In order to complete a Master’s Degree Programme, students must attain 120 ECTS credits as defined in the curriculum of the Programme. It usually takes two academic years (academic year is September – May) to complete a Master’s degree. There are no tuition fees for degree students in Finnish Universities.

For the Master’s Programme in Finnish and other Finno-Ugric Languages a good knowledge of Finnish is required.
