ABOUT NAMS
North American Studies (NAMS) offers an interdisciplinary program, drawn from various departments of the University, which can be taken as a minor subject. The Program is open to all degree students registered at the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University, and also to all exchange and international students.
Each October, the North American Studies program hosts all the visiting American university teachers and graduate students who are in Finland through the Fulbright Program for a two-day seminar called American Voices, covering many different aspects of American society and culture.
